ServiceNow GRC Business Analyst Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in the banking domain and a proven track record of implementing ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules, specifically Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that GRC processes align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of ServiceNow GRC modules, including IRM and TPRM, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. At least one project on ServiceNow Implementation is a must.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and translate them into functional specifications for ServiceNow configurations.
• Experience of Agile software delivery and waterfall as well to operate in both agile and waterfall style project methodologies and understand deliverables required for each methodology
• Candidate should have 4-8 years of experience working as a Senior Business Analyst on large Financial Services projects
• Lead business requirement gathering session and document requirements to create business requirement specification document
• Document Epics, user stories & test cases on JIRA/ADO and equivalent tools
• Excellent Communication, Organization and Documentation Skills
• Define testing objectives and liaise with testing teams
• Good understanding of financial products and Governance, Risk, and Compliance processes
• Critical thinking and ability to anticipate issues & plan stakeholder elicitation sessions
• Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Business Case, Estimation, Scoping

Qualifications:

Must have skills:

• A minimum of 4-8 years of relevant work experience in business analysis
• ServiceNow Implementation experience – either TPRM (third party risk management) or IRM (integrated risk management)
• Provide Thought leadership, display subject matter expertise in the pertaining domain.
• Well-versed and experienced in SDLC, using both waterfall and Agile methodologies (such as Scrum) for delivering projects.
• Proven expertise in solution architecture and system development lifecycle
• A comprehensive understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes
• Strong data analysis skills, proficient in SQL at an intermediate to advanced level
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Hands on experience with to tools like Jira, Confluence or other project management tools

Desirable Additional Skills:

• Exposure to Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.), data modelling, Python, R, JSON, XML is beneficial.
• Understanding of Capital Markets, Financial Risk (Credit Risk/Market Risk) or Regulatory Reporting experience will be an add-on advantage but not a MUST for the role.
