Job Description    

The role of IT Infrastructure Consultant is a specialist role and involve the following roles and responsibilities:

• Conduct needs assessments and analyze existing technology environments.
• Develop technology strategies that align with client goals and industry best practices.
• Provide recommendations for technology investments, upgrades, and improvements.
• Lead project teams in the execution of technology initiatives, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
• Manage technology projects from initiation to completion, coordinating resources and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
• Conduct research to evaluate new tools, methodologies, and frameworks that can benefit clients.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and results.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within client organizations and propose actionable solutions.
• Contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, tools, and best practices.
   

Desired Profile    

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience on Cloud, VMware and Wintel technologies
• Should have understanding of Data Centre and IT Infrastructure technologies (Virtualization, Compute, Storage, Backup etc.)
• Should have understanding of Cloud Platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP
• Should have understanding of OS Platforms
• Should have understanding of Database platforms
• Should have conceptual understanding of DevOps, Containers, Edge Infrastructure etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
   

Experience    

• 6 to 8 years

Education   

• B.Tech. / BS in Computer Science
   

Technical Skills & Certifications    

• Relevant OEM Level Certifications from:
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
