Senior Analyst – Life Sciences Sector Team Operations

Experience: 1–3 years

Education: M.Sc / M.Tech / B.Pharm / B.Tech (Biotech, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences); MBA or PGDM in Healthcare/Life Sciences (optional but a plus)

Preferred Background: Domain education in life sciences with some exposure to consulting, market research, or analytics

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our high-performing Life Sciences sector team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional with a life sciences background and some consulting experience to contribute to strategic operations, business research, and thought leadership development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support senior leadership in sector-wide initiatives, including pipeline tracking, capability mapping, team operations, and event coordination.
• Conduct structured secondary research and competitive benchmarking across pharma, biotech, medtech, and healthtech domains.
• Create high-quality reports, presentations, and PoVs for internal stakeholders and client-facing leadership sessions.
• Track trends, regulatory updates, innovations, and M&A activity in the health and life sciences space.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other sector/competency teams on proposal inputs, decks, and client artifacts.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong understanding of healthcare/life sciences domain (R&D, commercial, or operations focus)
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with consulting deliverables (e.g., client decks, market scans, reports)
• Familiarity with market intelligence tools (Evaluate Pharma, Cortellis, GlobalData, PitchBook, etc.)
• Exposure to working in or supporting global delivery centers or transformation teams
