About Global Delivery Services

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for Senior with expertise in .NET core , Microservices, AWS/Azure Cloud. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Drive the project to achieve the milestone
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Understand existing application architecture and solution design
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, programming patterns, and solving complex problems
• Experience with working with Agile methodology and scrums, and stand ups
• Demonstrated history of excellent troubleshooting, analytical. and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, high-quality systems and software products
• Strong written & oral communication skills
• Lead or Mentor junior and/or mid-level developers
• Review code and establish best practices

Skills and attributes for success

• 6 + years of Experience in Microsoft Technologies (Relevant) or as full stack (MEAN, MERN)
• Working experience in work on .Net Core, building  Microservices
• Working experience of designing & developing solutions in AWS/Azure Cloud
• Good experience in C#, Angular 6+/React.js 16.0.0+, SQL Server
• Good experience as Full Stack Developer (MEAN Stack or MERN Stack or both)
• Good experience in database designing, writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning
• Visual Studio, TFS, VSTS and GIT
• Modular programming in Angular 6+/ React.js 16.0.0+, Type Script and other front-end unit testing tools
• CI/CD, DevOps, setting up and managing Build and release pipelines
• Have good experience in DevOps Pipeline creations.
• Good to have AWS/Azure certifications
• Knowledge or working experience on AI technologies

• Ability to work with globally distributed teams

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's or master's degree
• Excellent communication skills with presentation experience preferred.
• As this is in an ODC engagement the candidate should be willing to work from office on all workdays.
• Candidate to be available in Bengaluru or Chennai only.
• Should have Azure/AWS expertise
• Candidate should be willing to upskill on AWS for project needs.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Ability to drive the project and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision.
