Job Title: Senior Manager – Java Full Stack Engineering
Experience: 14+ years
Domain Preference: BFSI (Banking / Capital Markets / FSO)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager – Java Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications, with a strong focus on AI-assisted development practices. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in full-stack technologies, modern architecture patterns, and hands-on experience with event-driven systems and cloud platforms, while also demonstrating strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade full stack applications.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor.ai, Replit, GitHub Copilot or equivalent) to enhance engineering productivity.
- Architect and build microservices-based solutions using Java and modern frameworks.
- Develop and integrate real-time data processing pipelines using Kafka.
- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka
- Build Agentic AI solutions using AWS
- Develop data pipelines on Databricks
- Deliver Market Risk technology solutions Exposure to Snowflake
- Design scalable and resilient systems leveraging AWS cloud platforms
- Work closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders in Banking/FSO/Capital Markets domain.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, performance, and DevOps pipelines.
- Mentor and manage a team of developers; foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Participate in client discussions, requirement gathering, and solution design.
- Drive Agile delivery practices across the team.
Primary Skills (Must Have)
- Strong experience in Java Full Stack Development:
- Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
- Frontend: Modern JS frameworks (basic exposure acceptable if backend-heavy)
- Full stack Programming
- Databricks and/or Pyspark
- Expertise in Apache Kafka / event-driven architecture
- Familiarity in building AI agents
- Strong knowledge of databases:
- Relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Good to have - NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP):
- Containerization (Docker)
- Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Cloud-native services
- CI/CD, Other DevOps tools and practices
Good to Have Skills
- Frontend expertise in Angular / React
- Agentic AI
- Hands-on exposure to AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor.ai / GitHub Copilot / Replit or equivalent)
- Market Risk Technology experience
- Financial Products knowledge
- Exposure to Replit or similar developer environments
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Experience with scalable system design and performance optimization
Secondary / Domain Skills
- Prior experience in FSO / Banking / Capital Markets
- Understanding of key financial systems, regulatory requirements, and domain workflows
