We are looking for a Technical Analyst with 7-12 years of IT Business / System Analyst with strong experience in Operational Risk / Enterprise Risk IT implementations programs. In this role, you will work with Business and Technology teams to draft Functional specifications, Data Requirements, System integration requirements, Platform configuration requirements for Operational Risk IT implementations. You will demonstrate relevant Agile driven approaches in Epics, Features, User Stories, Backlog items, Testing scenarios and all other phases and artefacts required to strategize and design Operational Risk IT programs. You should have experience in Integrated Risk Management (IRM) domain, either from vendor platform implementations (Such as Service Now IRM or Archer IRM or Auditboard or similar) or bespoke Operational and Enterprise Risk IT system implementations, as a Business-Technical Analyst

Your key responsibilities

Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Domain Expertise

  • Provide Domain guidance in areas of Operational Risk and/or Enterprise Risk and/or Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and/or Governance-Risk-Compliance (GRC)
  • IRM or GRC Process Lifecycles, IT platform designs/strategies, IRM platform implementation experiences

 

Functional Specifications

  • Articulation of product features and relevant Epics, as relevant to the stage of implementation
  • Creating and owning User stories, in adherence to industry practices and Agile methodology, with accurate and adequate Acceptance Criteria
  • Information / Data analysis using SQL as needed

 

Quality Assurance

  • Perform Techno-functional Testing (QA) for product features getting implemented as per the functional specifications
  • Automate testing wherever possible using most feasible approaches (Excel/ VBA or Python or any available tool/s)

 

Collaboration And Support

  • Partner with architects and application teams for secure solution delivery.
  • Provide functional support to all phases of delivery (Sprints, Testing, Hypercare etc.)
  • Ability to guide and coach junior TAs and testers in the team

 

Skills and attributes for success

Required Skills

  • 7-12 years IT experience, working as a Business / Technical Analyst in Operational Risk and/or Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Domain
  • Ability to closely work with Business and IT stakeholders to discover-gather-analyze and draft complete Functional specifications for target state platforms
  • Working experience in Agile-driven projects in areas of Functional Specifications, Data requirements / Data mappings, Process and data flows, API specifications and platform requirements, using Agile methodologies
  • Working experience as a Functional Tester of medium to large Platform or IT applications, acting as a Guardian of Quality
  • Working experience in any of industry leading IRM platforms (Servicenow IRM, Archer IRM, Auditboard or similar)
  • Relevant technical skills in Data Analysis (SQL, MS Excel etc.) as well as Data Presentation skills (Powerpoint, PowerBI, or similar) to articulate Data findings as needed

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Any of IRM platforms (Servicenow IRM, Archer IRM, Auditboard or similar) as a Functional Analyst
  • AI Familiarity (Co-pilot, Gen-ai, other)
  • Regulatory Mapping experience (vendor platforms such as CUBE)

 

Education:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
