Job Title: Senior Consultant – Java Full Stack + AI

Experience: 4+ years

Domain Preference: BFSI (Banking / Capital Markets / FSO)

Role Overview

As a Senior Consultant, you will serve as a hands-on technology professional responsible for designing, building, and delivering scalable, cloud-native applications. This role is focused on deep technical execution, solution delivery, and collaboration across teams.

You will leverage Java full stack expertise, modern distributed systems, and AI-assisted development tools to deliver innovative solutions, particularly within Financial Services engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Java full stack applications
• Build and implement microservices-based architectures and REST APIs
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (Cursor.ai / GitHub Copilot / Replit or equivalent) to improve productivity and code quality
• Develop event-driven systems using Kafka
• Design and optimize database solutions (RDBMS and NoSQL)
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and performance tuning
• Collaborate effectively with architects, leads, and cross-functional teams
• Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong hands-on experience in Java Full Stack development
• Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs
• Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools
• Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot, Replit, or equivalent
• Strong expertise in databases
• SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP):
• Containerization (Docker)
• Orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Cloud-native services
• CI/CD, Other DevOps tools and practices
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, system design, and API architecture

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with frontend frameworks: Angular / React
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices
• Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with modern collaborative coding tools (e.g., Replit)
• Exposure to agile development methodologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills

Secondary / Domain Skills (Preferred)

• Experience in Financial Services (FSO) domain, including:
• Banking
• Capital Markets
• Understanding of financial systems, transaction processing, or regulatory environments

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
