We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in Observability and Cloud Infrastructure across Azure and AWS (with GCP as an added advantage). In this role, you will design and manage enterprise-grade observability platforms, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure reliability, performance, and compliance across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This is an opportunity to work with modern monitoring, logging, and tracing technologies while collaborating with architects, developers, and security teams to deliver highly available and resilient platforms.

Your key responsibilities

Observability And Monitoring

• Design and implement observability solutions for cloud and hybrid workloads using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, GCP Operations Suite, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry.
• Define metrics, logging, tracing standards, and service-level objectives (SLOs).
• Drive proactive monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS (compute, networking, storage, databases).
• Support hybrid and multi-cloud workloads, ensuring scalability and cost optimization.
• Implement automation for provisioning and infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

Reliability  And Operations

• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery planning across cloud platforms.
• Lead root cause analysis and incident response for critical outages.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines with integrated observability and security.

Security And Compliance

• Implement security and compliance monitoring aligned to ISO, CIS, and NIST frameworks.
• Configure role-based access controls, IAM policies, and audit logging across clouds.
• Partner with InfoSec teams to enforce governance and continuous compliance.

Collaboration And Leadership

• Partner with application, infra, and DevOps teams to enable end-to-end observability.
• Mentor junior engineers on cloud-native observability practices.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success

Required Skills

• 4–8 years IT experience with strong expertise in observability and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud services (VMs, Networking, Storage, Databases).
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, reliability engineering, and SRE practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Azure Administrator/Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Associate/Professional Cloud Engineer.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes observability (Kube-Prometheus, Loki, Jaeger).
• Exposure to cost governance, FinOps, and AIOps platforms.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
