Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

EY Digital Engineering (DE) is an industry-focused unit delivering integrated services that combine deep domain expertise with strong engineering and product capabilities. We partner with clients to design and execute digital transformation—addressing key priorities across strategy, customer experience, growth, innovation, and technology modernization. We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise cloud platforms across Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, and DevOps practices, with proven experience delivering secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in multi-cloud environments.

In this role, you will design, build, and support cloud platforms across GCP and Azure, leveraging Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native services, and automation frameworks. You will contribute to cloud landing zones, networking, security, governance, observability, and operational best practices while supporting application onboarding and cloud modernization initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps toolchains, Kubernetes, cloud networking, identity and access management, and automation technologies across both GCP and Azure. Working closely with cloud architects, application teams, security teams, and platform engineers, you will help deliver reliable, enterprise-grade cloud solutions and drive continuous improvement across multi-cloud environments.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure..
• Design and build Cloud Landing Zones on GCP and Azure, including networking, identity foundations, governance controls, observability, security guardrails, and compliance requirements.
• Develop, automate, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud environments.
• Build and operationalize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions to enable automated infrastructure deployment, validation, testing, and release management.
• Implement and support cloud governance, security, and compliance controls using GCP Organization Policies, Assured Workloads, VPC Service Controls, Security Command Center, Azure Policy, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud in alignment with enterprise standards.
• Implement observability and operational monitoring solutions leveraging Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, audit logging, dashboards, and alerting frameworks.
• Execute cloud migration and modernization initiatives by establishing target cloud environments, automating infrastructure build activities, enabling application onboarding, and supporting migration and stabilization efforts.
• Perform post-migration validation and lifecycle management to ensure stable, scalable, and resilient platforms.
• Build, manage, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or CloudBees.
• Design and develop automation solutions using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy to improve engineering efficiency and operational reliability.
• Apply GitOps, configuration control, and policy-driven automation across cloud environments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage container platforms such (GKE/AKS), supporting cloud-native and microservices-based workloads.
• Support IT operations and platform reliability, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution across cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Manage source control and versioning using platforms such as Git, Github & Azure devops
• Collaborate with architects, application teams, cloud, and cybersecurity stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable enterprise solutions.
• Contribute to peer reviews, documentation, and knowledge assets including runbooks, SOPs, and best practices.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

• 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering, with strong expertise Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure and solid understanding of networking, compute, storage, IAM, and platform security.
• Proven experience in Cloud Landing Zone implementations across GCP & Azure
• Strong experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code  using Terraform and Ansible, along with scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS, or GKE), including deployment and scaling of workloads.
• Strong experience in monitoring, logging, and observability, using tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging,Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
• Good understanding of security and compliance fundamentals, including RBAC, least privilege, MFA/SSO, IAM policies, and audit readiness.
• Hands-on experience in cloud migration and modernization, including infrastructure migration, lifecycle upgrades, and environment cutovers.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, for automated infrastructure and application delivery.
• Strong experience in Linux/Unix administration, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, filesystem management, and OS-level diagnostics.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent container orchestration certification
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar
