Middleware Engineer (GDS)

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Middleware API Development:

  • Collaborate with the Middleware Engineering Lead and team members to design and build custom middleware APIs using Go, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Assist in the development of the middleware integration layer, including API gateways, messaging systems, and data transformations, specifically tailored for Kubernetes environments.

 

Support Middleware Platform Maintenance:

  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the middleware platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in the configuration of pipelines and Kubernetes configurations for Go deployments on Kubernetes.

 

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and provide support in implementing middleware solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for coding and development.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in middleware engineering, integration development, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of API management, including understanding of API endpoints and API gateways.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration is essential.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and environments is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or similar languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
