GDS is an important component of EY’s NextWave strategy and has an ever-increasing shared services footprint across the world, including five centers in India (Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Kochi and Trivandrum), and in Argentina, China, Poland and the Philippines. About the team 
The GDS Cybersecurity practice has been growing at approximately 45% year-on-year, with strong growth in the Americas and APAC regions. In order to continue this growth trajectory two critical elements will be (a) the growth of EY’s market share in EMEIA and GDS support for the same and (b) the capability of GDS to support cybersecurity services for new and emerging technology such as Digital Identity, Customer Identity, Identity Analytics etc. 

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

GDS EMEIA Cybersecurity leader responsibilities include

  • Building the GDS consulting brand in the EMEIA regions and Lead the practices and market facing business and technology service offerings in the cybersecurity for EY Global Delivery Services.
  • Own and anchor multiple EMEIA G360 and Core accounts and grow the GDS penetration to large numbers for GDS Consulting.
  • Sell, Influence, Present, Propose and Deliver Large scale cybersecurity transformation programs for EY in the EMEIA region, including building and expanding GDS Poland delivery center.
  • Develop strategies, plan, and sell Cyber/Technology projects and solutions related to the Digital identity and emerging technologies.
  • Work with client facing teams and management to prepare estimates, Point of Views, Position Papers and contribute towards cybersecurity pursuits and proposals.
  • Drive Business solution-based assets for cybersecurity and privacy in collaboration with the regional leadership.
  • Help recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Foster teamwork and lead by example.
  • Travel to EY and Client locations across EMEIA to build client and stakeholder relationship.
  • Grow cybersecurity talent base across all locations of GDS consulting.

 

Technical responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate strong consulting experience, in-depth business knowledge in cybersecurity and privacy areas of the business, ability to sell and run large scale consulting engagements with distributed delivery mindset.
  • Develop newer cybersecurity and digital identity solution offerings at GDS by collaborate and infusion of cybersecurity services in EY’s delivery of technology services such as SAP, Cloud, OT and RPA through integration at GDS and local market levels.
  • Develop capabilities at GDS to support market development and service delivery for security in technologies such as Cloud, IoT/OT, RPA, AI and SAP. This would involve recruitment / training of relevant talent, regional integration and market maker positioning, as well as development of both traditional and pay-per-use services for delivery across EMEIA regions.

 

General and Educational Qualifications / Certifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 25+ years of experience.
  • Experience in management consulting and IT advisory consulting organizations is a huge plus
  • Graduate from top college known for computer science is a huge plus
