Job Title- US Tax Advanced Analyst - Partnership- Hedge Funds/Private Equity

Advanced Analyst – The position demands a continuous learner with growth mindset. The main responsibility is to validate client data, study cash flow, portfolio and crude financial data provided by client, and prepare/draft various financial statements to be then assimilated into various tax filings. The professional should be able to translate tax technical skills and understanding of the client context into clear and pragmatic tax solutions.

Your key responsibilities
- Strong Knowledge of accounting standards and its principal.
- Understanding Partnership Hedge Funds and Private Equity concepts
- Understand Form 1065 and related forms and schedules.
- Understand information and requirement of documents for Tax return/Work paper preparation
- Manage assigned task throughout the end-to-end process in timely manner.
- Recognize any issue related to any task and ask relevant question for solution or work around.
- Understand client policy and procedures and its application on client delivery.
- Interpret data provided by client and accurately transfer to Work paper/Tax software.
- Comply with Ernst & Young compliance procedure.
Skills and attributes for success
- Basic knowledge of Go System and One source Income tax
- Demonstrate high degree of accounting and statistical skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of technology - good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office and other Web- based applications.
- Detail oriented, establishing and maintaining quality standards.
- Highly motivated to deliver results as per firm standards
- Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving attitude and self-motivated.
- Great Team player and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduate/Postgraduate in a finance, numerical or statistical background
- CA-Inter/ICWAI -Inter is desirable
- CPA/EA – will be an added advantage (Pursuing or completed)
- At least 6 months-3 years of experience, preferably in an accounting field (fresh graduates can apply).
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Ability to read, interpret and apply the tax legislation using various tools and platforms.
