Overview
 

Our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team is looking for a Marketo Specialist with excellent data management skills and marketing automation. This individual must have a passion for technology, enjoys learning and loves adapting to change in the digital space.

 

The Supervising Associate will support the stakeholder Martech team with Mercury CRM, project support, tactical execution of campaigns end to end, process improvements and educating users on campaign best practices. This individual must have experience with supporting email marketing campaigns and using various digital marketing tools such as Eloqua, MailChimp, Vuture or Canva with a strong interest in data management and analytics.  The individual must be flexible, motivated, have high attention to detail and must have a proven track record of working effectively with teams, and with senior leaders across the business to execute and report on campaigns.

 

Major responsibilities:
 

  • Build and execute Marketing Automation campaigns with varying complexities and sizes.
  • This role will primarily be focussed on acquisitions; migrating data from the newly acquired company systems like HubSpot or MS Dynamics and migrating it to Marketo using our GDPR guidance.
  • This role will involve stripping out contacts that have not engaged with the acquired company for the last 12 months etc.
  • The candidate will also help support stakeholders marketing teams to deliver their first few newsletters/email campaigns to continue BAU.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all relevant content, assets and target audience parameters are received for campaign execution.  
  • The ideal candidate will also be able to page build, or be willing to be upskilled in this area, to support the acquisition BMC team to deliver high quality engaging content.
  • They need to be highly collaborative and could work in a high pace, agile environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Management and coordination of report responses, RSVPs using Marketo or CVENT.
  • Regular reporting to key stakeholders on the performance of marketing automation campaigns and website performance.
  • Provide project support to all Mar-tech team members throughout the various stages of the project, including system testing.
  • Standardization and documentation of technical processes using our internal systems (e.g. SAP client relationship manager (CRM) and Marketo.
  • Ensure that system updates and new governance are communicated, understood, and followed by key stakeholders.
  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring that all external campaigns and online content support the firm’s brand and business strategy and compliant to risk and quality safeguards set by EY.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training, building relationships with partners, and participating in industry learnings and webinar.
  • Assist with marketing administration and other ad hoc duties as required.


Qualifications, knowledge & experience

We are looking for someone with minimum of 8 years’ experience in a digital/email marketing execution role, either in-house or agency background, who has worked with corporate, financial, or professional services organizations.
 

  • A university degree or college diploma in Digital Marketing or a related field.
  • 8 years’ experience in a Digital/email marketing coordination support role.
  • Strong project coordination skills, including managing internal stakeholder expectations and multiple campaigns at once.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, organized self-starter who can work well within a team, and excel in a fast-paced corporate environment, whilst being able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to review processes and make suggestions for automation.
  • Solid technical skills and expertise with email campaign deployments.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and must be comfortable with presenting to virtual teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Must ensure adherence to EYs data privacy policies, processes, and regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Functional knowledge of AEM will be an added advantage for this role.
  • Familiarity with complex, multi-national organizations is highly preferred.
