The Operations Management CoE within EY GDS is a dynamic and multi-offering function consisting of more than 300 employees across India, the Philippines and Poland with six global support centers. We provide operational excellence through methodologies and tools to build sustainable processes and practices. With functions such as global and regional operations, go-to-market enablers, and business enablement, the Operations Management CoE continually supports EY’s growth endeavors. Role summary

As a Business Operations Manager/Lead, you will work closely with business leaders across the world to provide them with knowledge, insights and best practices that will help deliver exceptional client service and market wins. You will be responsible for owning and delivering operations and strategic enablement support to the leadership and help operationalize the support delivery model. Your core focus will be to ensure seamless service delivery for ongoing initiatives and special projects that support EY’s growth and profitability.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Work alongside stakeholders to translate strategic vision into achievable goals.
  • Co-develop and drive key strategic initiatives on behalf of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate network meetings, develop actionable collaterals and drive action items till closure.
  • Provide business insights, project planning and coordination as well as budget management support.
  • Support stakeholders in transformation programs, control financials and measure ROI.
  • Innovate, automate and standardize processes to build efficiencies.
  • Help increase impact of the outlined strategies and run seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Read, understand and sanitize the data, build reports, and provide insights.
  • Drive meetings, build presentations that interpret the data and create valuable business insights.

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

Educational qualification

  •          Graduate or post-graduate degree

 

Job qualification

    • MS Office skills: Advanced level experience in Excel reporting and PowerPoint
    • Excel — Pivot tables, look ups, filtering, conditional formatting, validation
    • PPT — insert graphs or shapes, alignment, text justification, text margins
    • Excellent data handling skills
    • Intermediate knowledge of Project Management concepts and tools
    • Familiarity with maintenance of SharePoint sites
    • Knowledge of using data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau

 

Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced global environment
  • Experience of interacting with geographically dispersed professionals strongly preferred
  • Reporting experience, knowledge of standard metrics and key performance indicators
  • Understanding of business research or data interpretation and analysis concepts
  • Understanding of Project Management concepts and experience working on non-IT projects
  • Professional services industry experience, or internal or external client-serving experience preferred
