An exciting opportunity to work in EY’s Business Tax Advisory group with a diverse team of highly successful tax specialists in EY’s Transaction Costs Analysis (TCA) practice. You will support companies in analyzing the complex tax issues associated with the treatment of professional fees incurred in a wide range of transactions. As a TCA team member, you will also be part of an exciting, rapidly growing, globally focused team of India-based tax professionals who support a suite of similar tax services across a variety of English-speaking countries.
The opportunity
We are looking for a candidate with excellent project management skills that is organized and detail oriented. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in the intersection of large-scale business transactions and tax. Your key responsibilities
- Performing research regarding the transaction to identify relevant facts such as company information, transaction documents, regulatory filings, press releases, etc.
- Analyzing the transaction costs by reviewing invoices, engagement letters, etc.
- Preparing computations and documentation that support the analysis of the transaction costs
- Assisting with drafting the written analysis that provides the legal support for the treatment of the transaction costs
Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have
- Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in accounting, tax, business, and/or law.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the field of accounting, tax, finance or business (related experience with a Big Four accounting firm a plus, but not required).
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
