Job Summary
The GTM & Solution Lead – Banking & Payments is responsible for driving market-facing strategy, solution development, and execution of transformation programs across core banking and payments.
This role blends domain expertise in banking and payments, pre-sales solutioning, and hands-on program delivery, with accountability for building differentiated offerings and driving revenue growth.
The individual will act as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping transformation agendas across payments modernization, digital banking, and core platform transformation, while ensuring successful delivery of engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Go-to-Market & Offering Development
- Define and drive GTM strategy for:
- Core banking transformation
- Digital and open banking ecosystems
- Payments modernization
- Develop differentiated offerings, accelerators, and reusable assets aligned to market demand
- Translate industry trends (e.g., real-time processing, API-led integration, data monetization) into client-ready propositions
2. Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Support sales lifecycle including:
- Deal shaping, RFP responses, and client proposals
- Solution architecture and delivery approach definition
- Lead solution workshops with clients to define:
- Target operating model
- Technology architecture (core + payments + channels)
- Transformation roadmap
- Collaborate with alliance partners and product vendors (e.g., Temenos, FIS, Oracle, SAP) to create joint offerings and proposals.
- Provide thought leadership on core banking modernization, digital transformation, and operating model evolution.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders (business, IT, operations)
- Act as a trusted advisor on:
- Payments modernization strategy
- Core banking transformation
- Digital and ecosystem-led growth
- Provide executive-level updates, insights, and recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business
- 15+ years of experience in:
- Banking and payments consulting / delivery
- Transformation programs (core banking / payments)
- Proven experience in both pre-sales (RFPs, proposals) and delivery execution
- Strong understanding of:
- Core banking platforms and modules (deposits, lending, GL, channels)
- Payments landscape
