Job Summary:

Experience: 8+ years

We are seeking a highly skilled Life Sciences Strategy Manager to join our team. This role encompasses various aspects of commercial strategy, market access (particularly in the US market), and product planning and launch strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong therapeutic area (TA) expertise, a very good understanding of market access in the US and Europe, and experience with commercial strategy projects such as opportunity assessments, brand planning, and indication prioritization. The ability to develop presentations is essential. Additionally, experience in primary market research with KOLs and payers would be an added advantage

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing, reimbursement and access strategies to ensure successful access of life sciences products (in the evolving regulatory environment with IRA and MFN guidances)
  • Design go-to-market strategies, optimize launch planning and lifecycle management for innovative therapies
  • Develop portfolio optimization and indication prioritization strategies by thoroughly understanding product lines and therapy areas
  • Conduct opportunity assessments including commercial due diligence based on forecasting models
  • Support clients on projects on new commercial operating model design
  • Deliver on RFPs on a quick turnaround basis
  • Conduct and participate in primary interviews to gather insights from experts regarding the therapy area, implications for the client's drugs, perception of the TPP, pricing models, and identify key opportunities and challenges
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, payers and internal teams to generate actionable insights for client projects
  • Analyze outputs from the interviews to tease out key insights, identify trends, and generate actionable insights
  • Leverage findings from secondary and primary market research to develop an impactful client presentation deck and final reports to answer key client questions and develop strategic outputs
  • Develop and present high-impact client deliverables including strategic decks, and executive summaries.
  • Use appropriate tools, frameworks and techniques to conduct analysis and present findings in a logical and impactful manner.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering skill development and quality delivery.

 

Key Competencies:

  • Strong business analysis skills with experience in life sciences strategy, commercial strategy consulting, and market access (especially in the US market).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to present data and insights to senior stakeholders and clients in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Drive proposal development and provide directions to team members on the methodology to be proposed, background section and other key information to be included
  • Drive development of thought leadership articles

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/ master’s degree in life sciences-related fields such as pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, biotechnology from top-tier institutes
  • An MBA (in Pharma/healthcare/general) is preferred but not mandatory.
