Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Consultant / Manager to join our Business Consulting practice, specializing in Fertilizers value chain, especially Ammonia and Urea plants. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise across Fertilizer manufacturing combined with consulting experience, digital transformation exposure, and the ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engagements.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects across Ammonia/Urea plants, utilities, offsites, and logistics.
• Drive efficiency, energy reduction, reliability, and safety improvements.
• Support process optimization, debottlenecking, and emissions reduction.
• Lead digital manufacturing initiatives (APM, predictive maintenance, analytics, MES).
• Manage project delivery, governance, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Mentor consulting teams and contribute to knowledge building.
• Support proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership.

Skills and attributes for success

Must have

• Strong domain expertise in Ammonia/Urea manufacturing and continuous process operations.
• Analytical problem-solving and structured consulting approach.
• Excellent stakeholder and global client management.
• Experience in digital manufacturing tools and systems (APM, analytics, MES, DCS).
• B.Tech Chemical Engineering.
• 8+ years in fertilizer operations/process engineering + consulting.
• Hands-on in plant performance, energy efficiency, and optimization.
• Proven consulting delivery experience.

Good to have

• Master’s degree or certifications
• Experience with Aspen/HYSYS, MES, APM tools, SAP.
• Exposure to PSM, HAZOP, HSSE.
• Familiarity with licensors (Topsoe, KBR, Stamicarbon, Saipem, Toyo).
• Willingness to travel and work with international clients.
• Prior experience with a global consulting firm (Big 4 or equivalent).
