The opportunity: Associate Vice President-TMT-SaT-TCF-Transaction Diligence-Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai

SaT - TCF - Transaction Diligence: Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to today’s toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. From portfolio review and capital allocation processes to financial planning analytics and decision support, we have the people, analytics and tools to better allocate capital. Our team helps clients manage their risk/return trade-offs to support them with better decision-making around financing and capital efficiency.
Whether clients are preserving, optimizing, raising or investing, our Connected Capital Solutions (CCS) are our five go-to-market offerings that help drive competitive advantage and increased returns through improved decision-making. Technical Excellence:
- Analysed historic and current financial information
- Analysed projections and assumptions used for the same
- Understanding of business performance measures - Margins, EBITDA, working capital etc. required for FDD. Adequate reasons for movements and change in contribution margins with reference to business and items impacting financial statements.
- Identified of deal issues, assessing their impact on the transaction (valuation etc.) and advising on ways to address the issues Conducted analysis of transaction risks and ways to mitigate them
- Understanding transaction structure and basis it advised on structuring issues
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Project management/time management
- Staff management and development/leadership abilities
- High initiative and drive
- Maturity and ability to handle pressure
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Chartered Accountant with good academic background with 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
- FDD experience as part of M&A team in industry or Big 3 CA firms or been a part of the audit and assurance practice of Big 4 CA firms
