Business Consulting works with clients to reimagine or transform their business purpose and model; create growth; manage cost and efficiency; respond to market pressures and regulation; and resolve operational challenges. The scope of this team encompasses innovation, strategy and purpose, through deep functional experience in business transformation, finance, supply chain and operations, providing support for the complex and large-scale program and portfolio management.

It has multiple fields of play such as:

Finance Consulting - helps assess and transform our clients' finance function to improve performance and effectiveness. We help organizations implement service and cost improvement initiatives, and embed a performance management process and culture that unites the business around its core objectives.

Business Transformation - a m?ultidisciplinary competency, gathering capabilities in transformation architecture, experience design, business design and transformation execution to problem-solve, design and deliver large scale, multi-year, multi-stakeholder transformation programs.

Supply Chain and Operations - we provide a unique combination of industry-specific, strategic, operational and financial insights, digital technology advances and strategic alliance partners to deliver better outcomes and also help clients effect fundamental change in their operations’ performance to support sales growth, become more cost competitive, minimize risk and ensure operational resilience.

Your key responsibilities

Client service delivery/execution:
 Lead the delivery and execution of high-quality deliverables, managing service quality, brand, and client expectations.
 Build and maintain strong relationships with client personnel, ensuring quality client services.
 Conceptualize the overall solution for a given client problem
 Lead the engagement team to deliver client objectives
 Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure clients are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
 Review deliverables prepared by the team
 Manage project, engagement economics and receivables, project resources and team utilization
 Lead the delivery / execution of high-quality deliverables and manage service quality, brand and client expectations
 Build relationships with client personnel and deliver quality client services
Knowledge Management:
 Contribute to brand development by writing articles, developing thought leadership and point-of-view 

 Contribute to knowledge development and management
Business development:
 Manage client accounts, build professional relationships, and meet business development targets by identifying new opportunities with existing clients.
 Demonstrate significant industry and solution expertise to enhance business solutions.
 Demonstrate significant industry / solution expertise
People Management:
 Be a strong team player
 Build a strong team and be a strong role model, mentor and coach
 Assist in resolving people issues
 Support people development through guidance and feedback
 Take the lead in recruiting activities
 Ensure compliance to the EY’s standards, processes and policies
 Contribute to the firm’s initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, people agenda and operational excellence
 The role will evolve from engagement delivery to engagement management and pro-active business development over time
Technical Excellence

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop data-driven strategies for clients in the TMT sector. Proficient in leveraging consulting methodologies to drive business transformation and improve marketing effectiveness. Skilled in stakeholder management, utilizing strong analytical skills to gather insights and influence decision-making. Experience in developing and delivering impactful presentations that convey strategic recommendations clearly. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance sales and service performance.

 

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

Under graduation and Post Graduation from Tier 1 Colleges

Experience

 5-7 years of relevant post qualification experience, preferably from Consulting or Tech services industry with significant expertise in at least three of the areas 
listed – Due diligence, Go to Market, Revenue acceleration, Growth Strategy, Profitability improvement, Talent Supply Chain, Operations Transformation
 Knowledge of current technology landscape, trends and solutions
 Experience handling large consulting/ technology led transformation projects
