The Opportunity: Associate-National-TAX-TAX - GCR – ACR - National :  TAX - GCR - ACR : 

 

The opportunity

EY is looking for  Tax – Accounting Compliance and Reporting (ACR) practice. As a part of this team, you will be required to manage and monitor day to day operations related to client’s engagements, possess complete knowledge of managing core Accounting, Payroll & compliance functions.

 

Technical skills requirements:

  • Experience in core General Ledger Accounts Payable and Tax Function.
  • Having Qualification CA, CA Inter, MBA, M.Com.
  • Having Working knowledge in SAP.
  • Having worked in a service industry catering to clients on General Ledger services
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in executing and managing client handling General Ledger activities
  • Very strong Excel and analytical skills. Would be better if handled Cost Plus IT entities and exports.
  • Very Strong Accounting Knowledge, Update on Companies Act and should be well versed in all GL related statutory compliances like Preparation of Financials, GL Reconciliations.
  • Very Strong knowledge in dealing with Accruals, Accounting Knowledge, and should be well versed in all AP related statutory compliances like Timely conversion of USD into INR for Foreign Remittances, Cash Forecasting Analysis, ESPP Payments, CSR Payments, Creation of PO with Proper Approvals, Treasury Management like FD placement and coordinating with Banker etc.
  • Very strong Excel and analytical skills. Would be better if handled Cost Plus entities and exports.
  • Very Strong knowledge in dealing with TDS regulations and its monthly payments and filing of quarterly TDS Returns, Advance Tax Workings, Preparation of Schedules for Tax Audit, its finalization etc, Having exposure on GST including its filing on timely basis, Filing of FLA Returns etc.
  • Very strong knowledge in exports, STPI regulations, filing of Softex returns.
  • Having experience in NSTPI Regulations.
  • Having experience in GST Refunds.
  • Good communication Skills in coordinating and consolidating various inputs for client deliverables.
  • Knowledge on the upcoming changes in preparation of Financials and their reporting like IND AS etc.

Operational:

  • Manage client deliverables related to GL and related compliances for India
  • Consistently delivers quality results
  • Interact with clients to understand requirements and manage expectations
  • Responsible for meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) on Turn Around Time (TAT) & Accuracy
  • Review and execution of quality deliverables

People responsibilities:

  • Work with teams and seniors to understand their concerns and resolve them
  • Work as a team and develop teams to move to next level
  • Work under pressure, manage client expectations
  • Providing effective solutions and managing various Functional issues

Additional skills requirements:

  • Self-starter who is must be comfortable in a client facing demanding environment
  • Excellent verbal, intercultural and interpersonal communication skills
  • Adapt and be flexible to changing priorities
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Have logical and analytical skill

Would be better if he is based out of Hyderabad to manage client.
