Assistant Director-Manager– GDS Operations Enablement
Role Overview:
As Assistant Director/Manager in the GDS Operations Enablement function, you will drive GDS Operations' priorities and strategic projects. This role involves collaboration across multiple teams and locations within GDS, ensuring alignment and creating long-term value across key dimensions such as people, social, financial, and client outcomes.
Key Competencies:
- Communication: Ability to lead interactive sessions with GDS Operations Leaders and Stakeholders
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data sets and generating actionable insights.
- Project Management: Experience in program management of large, cross-functional and multi location projects
- Interest in co-driving talent initiatives, including learning programs and employee engagement activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Communication and connect with stakeholders:
- Lead and conduct interactive sessions such as business knowledge series, ampersand conversations with leaders
- Draft and publish the GDS Operations Newsletter and IKIGAI Bulletin, sourcing inputs from various functions and locations.
- Driving GDS Operations Priorities
- Program manage, monitor and report progress on Ops priorities
- Be the Ops business-lead to plan and drive central strategic projects that come time to time basis strategic importance to the organization
- Collaborate with the Talent team to co-drive learning and engagement programs, including the IKIGAI University learning program, the Ops Talent Factory (freshers’ hiring initiative), and broader employee engagement initiatives for GDS Ops.
- Co-develop and drive IKIGAI Awards, the flagship recognition program for GDS Operations
- Troubleshooting Projects in operations:
- Critically analyse pain points / issues and create task forces for formulating and implementing resolutions within defined timeframes
The role will evolve with the dynamic projects that are managed by the team.
