JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Business Testing and Development Support Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the testing, development, and optimization of internally developed business applications. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly captured and effectively translated into functional specifications. Your work will involve developing test cases, supporting various types of testing, and providing helpful assistance to end-users during implementation. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to business process improvements and project coordination, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
If you have a coding background, that’s a big plus! This will help you better understand technical aspects of the applications and enable you to collaborate more effectively with developers, ensuring successful testing and implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of business analysis deliverables (such as business requirements documents, functional specifications, and test cases).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Interest in learning about business process optimization, application testing, and project management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to gather and clarify business requirements for application development and testing.
• Assist in developing and documenting test cases for various testing types, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure all business requirements are properly validated and met.
• Support the execution of test plans by participating in testing activities, identifying issues, and documenting results.
• Help with the preparation of training materials and work instructions for end users.
• Participate in business process mapping, gap analysis, and process optimization efforts, identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist project managers in planning and tracking project tasks, preparing status reports, and managing project issues.
• Work with business and IT teams to ensure proper documentation is created, including functional specifications and user acceptance testing documentation.
