The opportunity

Join EY-Parthenon Transaction Diligence and work on high-impact M&A projects, advising private equity, strategic investors, and financial institutions on key investment decisions. You will combine financial analysis with commercial insight to assess businesses, identify risks, and support transaction execution.  

Your key responsibilities 
As part of EY-Parthenon Transaction Diligence, you will support clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions across a range of industries and markets. Your responsibilities will include:

    Buy- and sell-side M&A advisory, including market and company analysis to support transaction and strategic decision-making
    Analysis of target companies’ financials as part of financial due diligence, identifying key risks, value drivers, and purchase price considerations to support buy/sell recommendations
    Assessment of financial performance and position, including revenue streams, cost drivers, profitability, working capital, net debt/cash, liquidity, and potential hidden value or risks
    Supporting clients on strategic and financial matters, including purchase price negotiations, Share Purchase Agreement discussions, and transaction structuring
    Taking on increasing leadership responsibility, including managing small teams, coordinating workstreams, and contributing to business development through proposal preparation and client engagement 

What we look for

    Degree in economics, business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field
    3–5 years of relevant experience in transaction services, corporate finance, M&A, strategy, or a similar financial advisory environment
    Strong analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial statements and transaction drivers
    Very good communication skills in English
    Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to translate financial data into clear insights
    Curious and proactive, with a critical mindset to challenge assumptions
    Team-oriented and collaborative, comfortable working in high-performing teams
    Driven and adaptable, with the ability to take ownership in a dynamic environment
