Your key responsibilities

As a Delivery Lead, you will lead a team of EY consultants, technical architects and engineers in the implementation of Digital Banking Initiatives. You will hold ownership and accountability on the delivery of quality deliverables, working and communicating effectively with the engagement team and client’s team to ensure exceptional performance.

Functioning as a mix between a Programme Manager and a Lead Business Analyst, you will need to be able to manage the overall programme whilst at the same time be sufficiently proficient in requirements gathering, analysis and working with a technology-centric team to understand and orchestrate the technicalities of the project.

 

Often functioning as the Voice of the Customer, you will be the glue between client/business and technology and ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood by the technical team and on the flipside ensure that any technical limitations or constraints can be easily understood by the business team.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Good understanding of Mobile Banking Trends, ability to interpret their impact on customers, and experience in implementation of such initiatives in Thailand and / or ASEAN
  • Strong techno-functional background and good understanding of Digital Banking Architecture
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with prior experience in leading delivery teams both locally and across borders
  • Possess strong interpersonal and teaming skills, and experienced in engaging with both business stakeholders and technical stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills and proficiency in the use of PowerPoint, Word and Excel

 

To qualify for the role you must have 

  • Thai nationality
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in the Thai Retail Banking industry, with a focus on digital/ mobile banking initiatives.
  • Experience with relevant FinTech ecosystems and system integration would also be looked upon favorably.
  • Academic background in Engineering, IT, Finance or Banking
  • Successful delivery leadership of large scale banking technology projects
  • Experience in agile delivery methodologies, e.g. sprints, product backlogs, user stories
  • Track record of managing cross functional and cross-border teams
  • Track record dealing with senior stakeholders and adapting to demanding environments
  • Fluency in Thai and English language is mandatory
