The opportunity

 

As our Service Delivery Analyst, you'll be part of a team in our Service Delivery Centre (SDC) within the hub will work with EY project teams across Australia to support large-scale client engagements. 

You will provide a range of financial administration support, as well as assisting the Service Delivery Team Leader by coordinating various tasks amongst the team and acting as first point of contact for general queries.

 

This role involves working as part of a national team to execute forensics audits of kindergartens who receive funding from the Victorian Department of Education, aimed at ensuring that funding has been used correctly and that funding recipients are meeting their obligations.

 

This role is based in Ballarat Wadawurrung – Ballarat. Roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Develop business process maps to illustrate funding flows and operational pathways
  • Conduct Kinder audits by verifying transactions, reviewing expenditure records, and tracing teacher attendance and qualifications
  • Coordinate with Kinder providers to collect documentation and clarify audit-related queries
  • Facilitate process walkthroughs with provider staff to understand procedures and identify gaps
  • Assist in discussing and agreeing on audit findings with Kinder providers and the Department of Education
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all audit activities and supporting evidence

  • Strong attention to detail and consistently and can adhere to structured processes and methodologies
  • Communicate clearly and professionally when engaging with service providers and stakeholders
  • Confidently reviews records and documentation to assess compliance with defined requirements

 

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

 

  • Experience in compliance, auditing, or government-funded programs (desirable but not essential), coupled with a commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes
