We provide reporting solutions or requirements through finance, markets and operations reporting along with cyclical and critical controlling processes such as Forecasting, Financial Planning, Revenue Planning, Markets Leadership Planning and Cash Reporting to help you take better business decisions. With projects like Mercury, we also support business transformation, and we are continuing to expand our services to support all Regions with their reporting and analytics needs. 

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reporting Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the consolidation of IFRS reporting for our group entities, ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the internal financial health of our organization while developing your expertise in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the consolidation of financial statements for group entities in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present consolidated financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and trends.
  • Lead the audit process conducted by external auditors, ensuring all necessary documentation and information is provided.
  • Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any findings or recommendations.
  • Develop and enhance reporting processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on changes in IFRS regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee and enforce compliance with Balance Sheet accounts policies, updating them as needed.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability in team management, including mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Azerbaijani, Russian is preferrable
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
