Join our Finance team and you will help to improve engagement profitability, manage enterprise-wide risk and support market development activities. You will support EY with reporting, working with external auditors, analysis, work on automations and process improvements. You’ll get all the support you need to stay on top of regulations — and the advice and help you’ll need to meet your own professional goals.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the consolidation of financial statements for group entities in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and trends.
• Support the audit process conducted by external auditors, ensuring all necessary documentation and information is provided.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any findings or recommendations.
• Contribute to enhancement of the reporting processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on changes in IFRS regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Support the implementation and adherence to Balance Sheet accounts policies, updating them as needed.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree.
• Certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements is preferable.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Azerbaijani, Russian is preferrable
