The opportunity

We are looking for recruiting the most talented individuals with Legal knowledge. As a Manager in Law, you will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers by focusing on high impact opportunities. You will lead presentations and proposals for complex projects or elements of highly complex projects and provide subject matter insight to proposals.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Delivery of high-quality legal services that meet client expectations;
  • Thoroughly and accurately analyzing information;
  • Preparing practical, professional, competent, effective and creative solutions to client’s situation; arriving at appropriate engagement conclusions, recommendations and implementation plans;
  • Making quality decisions in the more complex, judgmental areas after consulting with others;
  • Demonstrating an understanding of increasingly complex legal concepts; discussing complex legal issues with engagement team and client management;
  • Effectively applying legal knowledge to client situations;
  • Preparing legal analysis based on case fact and applicable legislation;
  • Preparing for meetings with target management teams;
  • Preparing reports that will be delivered to clients and other parties;
  • Maintaining positive relationships both with the team members and client personnel;
  • Preparing legal opinions on various issues that may arise in the course of the client`s operations;
  • Providing legal advice to the Client including labor, finance, administration functions as well as providing verbal or written advice at the request of the client’s management and staff;

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Ability to lead pre-sales activities and bring thought leadership in Law to the clients
  • Legal knowledge of civil, corporate, labor, financial, administrative, commercial, state procurement, intellectual property, real estate and insurance law of the Azerbaijan;
  • Demonstration of negotiation and drafting skills, as well as business sense to deal with multiple legal assignments in a rapidly scaling business;
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering quality outputs to clients;
  • Analyzing, processing and structuring information (data);
  • The procedure for systemizing, recording and maintaining legal documents using advanced information technologies;
  • Knowledge of economics, labor organization, production and management;
  • Working with internal work regulations and other corporate policies and procedures;
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor's and/or master’s degree in Law with strong academic credentials and approximately 5 years of related work experience;
  • Membership in Azerbaijani Bar Association is preference;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Azerbaijani;
  • Strong presentation and communication skills;
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environment and work in different teams;
  • Developing thought leaderships in Law, build market presence through public events and pursuing new client opportunities
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically;
  • Proactive, dedicated, innovative, resourceful, and analytical mindset.
  • Willingness to collaborate with government, commercial and industrial companies, with a high drive for client focused results;
