Technology Consulting, Digital & Emerging Technologies - Cloud DevOps Engineer (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1490845), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Austin, TX. 

 

Create cloud engineering designs to develop solutions for clients supporting business decisions. Provide end-to-end technical system solutions, in line with business strategy and objectives. Work closely and continuously with the business/client to focus on meeting business/client requirements and incorporating broader aspects such as overall product costs/revenue, data privacy and sovereignty, business continuity, information security, and integration with other computer systems. Ensure relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly across Technology programs/projects and products. Identify, define, and implement reusable technologies, assets, and standards and adhere to standards and consumption of reusable assets across products and portfolios.  
  
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, or a related field and 4 years of work experience.  
 
Must have at least 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: consulting, professional services, and/or IT industry.  
 
Must have at least 4 years of experience with cloud vendors, including one or a combination of the following: AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and/or GCP.  
 
Must have at least 4 years of experience with DevOps technologies, including DevOps related to HCL Commerce.  
 
Must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with service and hosting solutions, including one or a combination of the following: cloud IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS platforms.  
 
Must have at least 2 years of experience in container technologies, including one or a combination of the following: Kubernetes, AKS, and/or OCP.  
  
Must have at least 2 years of work experience in presenting in oral and written communications to executive-level clients.  
  
Must have at least 1 year of experience supervising professional employees.   
  
Requires domestic travel up to a maximum of 50%.
