IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, (Technology Transformation) (IT Strategy) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1493489), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Austin, TX. 
 
Co-create the technology-enabled business models of the future with clients. Assess clients’ technology model and identify where to incorporate technology enabled value drivers and organize technology capabilities. Apply analytics skills and experience to identify practical transformation efforts and develop financially sound business cases. Collaborating closely with EY technology and business consulting practices to develop technology transformation roadmaps, drive broad transformation programs, identifying a purposeful “why” for technology transformations and establish and engaging platform for change. Develop cohesive, compelling strategic vision of how technology transforms the business models for the clients and the vision for the technology organization to enable such. Coach leaders in client organizations in positioning the technology transformation vision and engaging stakeholders at all levels to support the proposed direction. Challenge technology sourcing strategies and move them from cost plays to a foundation for innovation, scalability and flexibility. Develop capability and technology operating models that introduce differentiated performance and innovative ways of delivering technology. Drive clarity in the technology direction and client priorities. Support transactions – on both sides – to accelerate the path to synergies and drive confidence in the transition. Deliver technology strategies that ignite business agility and differentiation. Develop team and delivery capabilities. Continuously improve methods and help manage the firm’s risk. Identify advisory market trends, needs at clients, pursuit strategies and work with pursuit teams in business development and pursuits. Contribute to domain expertise and thought leadership through development and publishing of first- party research.  
  
Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Operations Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Operations Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field and 4 years of related experience.  
  
Must have 4 years of advisory or management consulting experience.  

 

Must have 4 years of experience in conducting IT capability assessments and defining future state. 

 

Must have 4 years of delivery experience in IT operating models and IT transformation road maps. 

 

Must have 2 years of experience creating business cases for IT transformation. 

 

Must have 4 years of experience in at least 2 of the following technology areas: software selection, solution/enterprise architecture, application development, IT operations, packaged software management (such as ERP, CRM, WMS, or other), cloud solutions, data management and analytics, or infrastructure.  

 

Must have 4 years of combined experience in at least 2 of the following business areas: Corporate strategy, competitive intelligence, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, supply chain, marketing, operations, Human Resources (HR), and/or internal control. 

 

Must have 2 years of experience with leading practices, benchmarking, and peer company environments, which includes advisory and/or consulting experience relevant to industry specific business and technology functions. 

 

Must have 2 years of experience with written and verbal presentation to technology leaders at the EVP and C-level.  

 

Must have 2 years of experience with technical writing.  

 

Must have 2 years of experience leading and mentoring teams of at least 2 people.   

 

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
