Do you want to build your career within a highly successful and supportive environment? We are looking for Senior Consultants and Managers, with prior consulting experience relating to digital supply chain, end-to-end value chain, logistics or manufacturing excellence to join our team in Auckland. Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
This is a hybrid position based in our Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) office
- Work with diverse teams across the business to win, design, plan, and deliver projects to help clients leverage digital capability to drive better business and solve some of their most challenging problems
- Manage your own and team performance to achieve a high standard of client service
- Connect with our local and global networks to work with, share knowledge, and draw on the skills of other EY subject matter specialists
- Develop relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels
- Be part of a team that not only helps leading NZ companies improve operational performance, streamline processes and manage change but also design the future of their business with a people centred approach[MM2] [MM3] [LH4] [SR5] [LH6]
Your EY experience could span from innovating the future of agriculture for one of NZ’s leading exporters to improving product quality while transforming the manufacturing capability and performance of one of NZ’s most iconic companies to reduce waste, to designing the supply chain of a public organisation to deliver better outcomes for New Zealanders.
Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success
Here’s our ‘wish list’: While we do require suitable supply chain and operations consulting experience, don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go:
- Delivering business led, tech enabled business transformations (e.g. Supply Chain solutions and technology platforms such as, Analytics & Visualisations, Warehouse, Transport and Demand Management Systems, or Automation/Robotics, etc.)
- Logistics, inventory management or procurement in the consumer product or retail industry [MM9]
- Strategic alignment and operating model reviews
- Business and process improvement projects including those that draw on Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong commercial acumen, and hands-on cost analysis and business case preparation
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Intrinsic, self-motivation to excel in the pursuit of challenging goals
- A positive attitude, with a passion for creative problem-solving and finding solutions
- A growth mind set, with a penchant for seeking out new experiences, knowledge, feedback and leadership opportunities
