Our Transfer Pricing team part of International Tax & Transaction Services is growing. We’re looking for Senior Managers who are passionate about transfer pricing to help clients navigate business restructures, plan for new international projects, manage compliance obligations, and engage confidently with tax authorities.
You’ll work across a diverse portfolio: from large multinationals spanning multiple industries to ambitious start‑ups. Partnering closely with our international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network in New Zealand and overseas, you’ll join an integrated team committed to helping clients thrive in a global environment.

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
- Solve complex client challenges by applying advanced transfer pricing concepts alongside strong business, economic and financial acumen.
- Lead engagements and own client relationships, ensuring delivery excellence, clear communication and proactive issue management.
- Review and elevate quality of transfer pricing analyses, documentation and financial models prepared by the team.
- Support Partners on complex matters, including transfer pricing reviews, audits and Advance Pricing Arrangements with the ATO and other tax authorities.
- Mentor and develop our people, providing coaching, feedback and on‑the‑job training to build capability across the team.
Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success
- Relevant Transfer Pricing expertise with hands‑on experience in documentation, planning and controversy (e.g., reviews, audits, APAs).
- Client leadership: proven ability to manage engagements end‑to‑end, build trusted relationships and drive outcomes in complex, cross‑border settings.
- Analytical strength: comfort with financial modelling and interpreting economic/industry data to support defensible positions.
- Collaborative mindset: thrives in an integrated, multi‑disciplinary network across geographies, with resilience and sound judgment under pressure.
- Market focused mindset & business development capability: able to identify opportunities, contribute to go‑to‑market initiatives, build a presence in the market, and help grow the Transfer Pricing practice.
