As a market leading risk remediation team EY delivers Holidays Act remediation services to clients across a range of sectors. You can expect to work on large-scale remediation projects with a motivated team across different geographies, creating solutions to complex problems and resolving issues for some of New Zealand’s largest organisations and their people. This will involve interacting with stakeholders to understand their specific complexities as well as analysing data and legislative requirements to determine issues, develop modelling methodologies and design processes that support our clients ongoing compliance.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Be a high performing team member on Holidays Act remediation programmes by: identifying issues; delivering high quality outputs, and using your skills and knowledge of business process/systems to provide practical solutions to clients.
  • Training team members to understand the requirements of the Act, understand common non-compliances with the Act and how we typically help clients remediate these non-compliances.
  • Manage competing demands and priorities whilst effectively delivering assigned outputs.
  • Applying a legislative lens to data analysis to assist in methodology development and decision making.
  • Translating business requirements into modelling solutions through collaboration with a modelling team.
  • Reviewing models and model inputs to ascertain whether they are working as intended and providing feedback on any issues identified.

  • Strong understanding of detailed business processes/systems and activities.
  • Excellent data analytics, mathematical, numeracy and/or modelling skills.
  • Ability to analyse and understand legislative, business and stakeholder requirements in order to identify issues and translate the requirements into remediation solutions.
