Kei a koe te mana I The choice is yours

As a market leading risk remediation team EY delivers Holidays Act remediation services to clients across a range of sectors. You can expect to work on large-scale quality assurance projects with a motivated team across different geographies, assessing solutions to complex problems and resolving issues for some of New Zealand’s largest organisations and their people. This will involve translating business requirements into compliance assessments, based on the Holidays Act and client specific decisions, and then testing the outcomes of these changes to confirm system configurations have been accurately implemented.

  • Be a high performing team member on Holidays Act remediation quality assurance programmes by identifying issues; delivering high quality outputs, using your skills and knowledge of business process/systems, and data to provide practical solutions to clients.
  • Processing data sets and delivering analysis to assist with decision making, including working out what data is required and how best to use it.
  • Translating business requirements into achievable solutions with the technical team.
  • Reviewing modelling outputs to business and technical requirements - Develop test plans, execute, and analyse tests and document results.

Ō Pūmanawa I What we’re looking for

Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.

  • Strong understanding of detailed business processes/systems and activities.
  • Strong experience and understanding of the Holidays Act requirements.
  • Ability to take compliance requirements and assess business requirements that match to these.
  • Excellent data analytics and modelling skills – the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data.
  • Ability to take business requirements and develop testing to confirm that implementation has been accurately completed.
  • Payroll system understanding would be an advantage but this is not a system design role.
