As a market leading risk remediation team EY delivers Holidays Act remediation services to clients across a range of sectors. You can expect to work on large-scale remediation projects with a motivated team across different geographies, creating solutions to complex problems and resolving issues for some of New Zealand’s largest organisations and their people. This will involve translating large and complex data sets into business insights and modelling using data programming languages and tools such as Alteryx, Python and SQL.
- Be a high performing team member on Holidays Act remediation programmes by identifying issues; delivering high quality outputs, using your skills and knowledge of business process/systems, and data to provide practical solutions to clients.
- As a Senior Consultant, support other team members of the team in their understanding, delivery, quality outputs and data management.
- Processing large data sets and delivering analysis to assist with decision making.
- Translating business requirements into modelling solutions.
- Training or supporting team members to develop their data query and programming abilities (SQL and python experience required).
- Reviewing modelling outputs to business and technical requirements - Develop test plans, execute and analyse tests and document results.

- Strong understanding of detailed business processes/systems and activities.
- Excellent data analytics and modelling skills – the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data.
- Ability to work with large data sets; proficiency using SQL / Python or equivalent data query/ programming languages.
- Understanding of databases such as SQL Server.
- Understanding of ETL frameworks and ETL tools including Alteryx and Microsoft SSIS.
