As a Senior Consultant, you will be Joining New Zealand’s fastest growing Cyber practice, this is an opportunity to work in a team that put people at its heart, whilst contributing to making NZ Cyber safe. Cyber Security is now a critical business focus and our clients are overwhelmingly turning to EY for help and guidance on how to protect their assets, minimise business disruption and improve their overall cyber risk capability.

  • you will partner with leading organisations in the public and private sector and translate uncertainty into confidence.
  • You will help clients improve their cybersecurity in a wide variety of ways, from assessing cyber capability and advising on strategy and technology, to designing and building transformation programs and specific security solutions, to implementing and also managing security solutions, often alongside selected market leading vendors.

 

Ō Pūmanawa I What we’re looking for 

On day one you will need to have established knowledge and skills in key Information Security domains and an understanding of relevant industry security standards (ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST CSF or ITIL). Ideally you will also have advisory and/or implementation experience in at least one of the following information Security domains:

  • Cyber Strategy & Architecture,
  • Cyber Risk Management
  • Cyber Detection & Response
  • Cyber Threat Exposure Management
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Data Protection
  • Infrastructure Security
  • Privacy
  • Cyber Resilience or
  • Breach Support.

 

This will be complimented by:

  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery in a project-based environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities both written and verbal.

  • An inquisitive mindset, agility and a commitment to quality outcomes in a high-performance team.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

 

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Hold cyber certification(s).

  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
