As our HR/HCM Transformation Solution Lead / SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect you’ll drive the design and implementation of innovative HR solutions and implementations. This role will be leading HR transformation projects and implementations of SAP SuccessFactors solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP HR/ SAP SuccessFactors, with a strong focus on the Hire to Retire capability and will demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide cross-functional teams toward successful project delivery.

 

This hybrid position is based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office.

 

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities 

 

  • Manage project & solution risks and facilitate issue resolution, providing troubleshooting support to the team as needed, ensuring timely and effective responses to challenges.
  • Formulate and lead the strategic direction for SAP SuccessFactors enterprise architecture.
  • Offer guidance and oversight for extensive SAP SuccessFactors deployments.
  • Provide Solution design guidance to ensure system efficiency, scalability, and security.
  • Work closely with senior business and IT executives to align architecture with strategic objectives and build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and uphold detailed architectural documentation and governance structures.
  • Conduct quality reviews of deliverables, ensuring compliance with project standards and facilitating peer reviews across streams.
  • Lead and manage technical, functional and client teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring high performance among team members.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in SuccessFactors (particularly in the Employee Central and EC Payroll modules) cross all modules, including integration with third-party HR & Finance systems, providing guidance and insights to the team and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with all relevant teams within the project to ensure an integrated solution that meets business requirements.
  • Facilitate the review and sign-off process for all deliverables, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
  • Define, control, and deliver the solution scope, ensuring that all project tasks and deliverables are compliant with established standards.
  • Utilise effective business consultation skills, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills to drive project success.

 

Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Proven experience as a SuccessFactors Solution Architect, with a strong background in team activity planning and leadership. 
  • 10+ years of comprehensive SAP HR/SuccessFactors experience, encompassing the entire Hire to Retire capability. 
  • Expertise in solution architecture, design, and delivery within SuccessFactors and Payroll environments. 
  • Strong functional knowledge complemented by technical proficiency, enabling effective collaboration across teams.  

 

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, monitor, and control SAP functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Preferred certifications in SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), Employee Central Payroll (ECP), and Talent Management.
