As a Senior Change Consultant in our People Consulting team, you’ll support the delivery of change management solutions for clients implementing SAP across a wide range of industries.
You’ll contribute to high-impact transformation programs, as part of a collaborative and supportive team. The role includes designing and executing change strategies, supporting communication and training efforts, and contributing to user adoption for key SAP modules such as Procurement, Supply Chain, or Maintenance. It’s a great opportunity to strengthen your expertise in both change and SAP while making a meaningful impact across some of New Zealand’s leading organisations.
You’ll also work closely with our strategic technology alliance partners - including SAP, Microsoft, and ServiceNow - to embed leading platforms into business strategy and deliver measurable outcomes for clients. These alliances support every stage of the transformation lifecycle, from strategy through to execution, enabling us to deliver scalable and innovative solutions. Your ability to manage complex programs, apply delivery best practices, and leverage alliance capabilities will be key to your success in this role.
This role is based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will support the delivery of high-impact projects within the People Consulting team, focusing on Change and SAP transformation initiatives for clients.
- Apply your expertise to deliver complex change initiatives across a variety of sectors, supporting organisations as they navigate transformation and adopt new ways of working.
- Lead the implementation of change strategies by developing actionable recommendations, preparing high-quality reports and presentations, and providing practical advice to both internal and external stakeholders on change and learning initiatives.
- Contribute actively to EY’s Change and Learning Community by fostering an inclusive, supportive team culture and collaborating as part of a high-performing, purpose-driven team that values continuous learning and diverse perspectives.
Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success
- Minimum 3 years experience delivering end-to-end change management on large-scale SAP programs, with a focus on enabling workforce performance, engagement, and wellbeing.
- Strong expertise in SAP functional areas such as Procurement, Supply Chain, or Maintenance, with a track record of successfully leading change efforts in one or more of these modules.
- Skilled in using both qualitative and quantitative data to inform change strategies, with the ability to build strong relationships and credibility with client stakeholders.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below:
- Experience working in large or matrix organisations, with exposure to HR systems or technologies. A background or interest in organisational psychology, development, or culture change is advantageous. Have a holistic view on people, process & tech.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with diverse stakeholders and clearly explain complex ideas to varied audiences.
- A creative, adaptable, and flexible mindset, with a passion for generating innovative ideas and responding confidently to changing client environments. Resilience and able to multitask.
