Professional Practice Group Administrator – Assurance

We are looking for a Practice Group Administrator, within the Audit (Quality) Business Unit. As our Professional Practice Group (PPG) Administrator within our Audit (Quality) team you will be contributing to our Oceania Quality objectives by supporting PPG with compliance matters, initiatives and risk functions under our system of quality control.
This position is based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office.
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
- Support PPG by acting as control operator for SQM controls on Assurance Quality and assist SQM controls owners within PPG in managing their review and approval
- Coordinate and support SQM testing and monitoring by leading evidence retention and manging documentation requests from testing team
- Support the firm’s overseas regulatory registrations and renewal process
- Assist in preparation of reports by leading the project management of all leadership reviews and assist with data points specific to the reports.
- Organise and support PPG leaders with key Governance and policy committee meetings including planning agenda, invitees, drafting minutes and monitoring action items
- Assist in firm quality inspections process by coordinating materials and reports (example -annual firm ISO audit)
- Assist PPG in monitoring compliance with various assurance policies (for example – annual Bally recusal confirmation required from PPG Partners)
- Coordinate with Assurance partners and Compile information on engagements with PCAOB/US reporting
- Manage annual PCAOB engagement confirmation process

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan and execute activities on time, motivating others to provide information in a timely manner
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (primarily in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) from experience gained in previous administrative positions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, high attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Confident, with experience building positive relationships quickly and effectively with colleagues across all levels, including Senior Managers and Partners
- Organised and flexible with experience managing a varied and evolving workload
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience working in a professional services organisation, ideally within the Audit team
- Experience in handling large data and compilation of reports for stakeholders in your previous roles
- Any previous experience dealing with audit and other quality regulators will be beneficial, not a requirement
- Experience in managing multiple projects and delivering in a timely manner

We have 1 Professional Practice Group Administrator position available. The role pays between $32 – $36.92 per hour dependent on skills and experience. This role is for a minimum of 30 hours per week’.
