Our transfer pricing team is the clear market leader, helping our clients navigate through periods of complexity and significant change. We are currently seeking a Manager passionate about transfer pricing to support our clients in managing compliance obligations, designing innovative transfer pricing models and navigating tax authority reviews. As part of our broader International Tax and Transaction Services team, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of clients, from large multinational companies to small start-ups. Working closely with our international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network in New Zealand and overseas. You will be part of an integrated team, gaining exposure to wider tax and commercial issues as you work closely with other tax and other specialties to solve client problems from a holistic perspective.
Your responsibilities as a Manager in our team will include:
- Formulate, recommend, and implement global transfer pricing policies and frameworks for multinational clients
- Be part of our teams negotiating advance pricing agreements with the IRD and offshore tax authorities
- Analyse the impact of changes to international tax rules and prepare recommendations on their consequences for clients transfer pricing positions
- Engage directly with our clients, offshore EY offices and other stakeholders to build enduring relationships

- Minimum 4 years of Transfer Pricing experience in a relevant role either from industry or professional services background.
- Demonstrated experience in assimilating complex information and data sources to provide a succinct and well-informed recommendation to the client
- Strong teaming and leadership skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to stay abreast of wider legal, economic, environmental and political factors that influence Transfer Pricing
- Exceptional client service orientation and a collaborative approach
