As a Manager, you’ll join the Transaction Strategy & Execution practice, a dedicated team within EY’s Strategy and Transactions division. We help clients maximise value from their acquisitions and divestments by defining the operational changes required to achieve targeted outcomes. Our expertise spans synergy assessments, separation readiness and support, operational due diligence, and the integration or separation process.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of junior resources to deliver engagements from end-to-end.
  • Manage client relationships across the engagement lifecycle.
  • Develop market perspectives and other business development materials.
  • Analyse and evaluate operating models and financial information.
  • Identify key operational, integration, and separation issues for further analysis.
  • Develop deliverables in a fast-paced environment and present to clients.
  • Identify key client risks and issues and mitigate these ahead of time.

  • Experience: 4+ years in a similar role (e.g., Professional Services, Management Consulting, M&A, or related corporate experience).
  • Skills: Advanced problem-solving skills, curiosity, and creative thinking.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Relationships: Adept at building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Driven with High EQ: A balance of ambition and emotional intelligence.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Desirable: Transaction or organisational transformation experience is a plus.
