As our Manager – Risk Remediation you’ll deliver Holidays Act remediation services to clients across a range of sectors. You can expect to work on large-scale quality assurance projects with a motivated team across different geographies, assessing solutions to complex problems and resolving issues for some of New Zealand’s largest organisations and their people. This will involve translating business requirements into compliance assessments, based on the Holidays Act and client specific decisions, and then testing the outcomes of these changes to confirm system configurations have been accurately implemented.
- Lead a high performing team on NZ Holidays Act remediation quality assurance programmes by identifying issues, delivering high quality outputs, using your skills and knowledge of business process/systems, and data to provide practical solutions to clients. Support the team to delivery high quality outcomes that deliver the work required by our clients within our EY Quality Framework.
- Develop relationships with clients and team members alike so we can work together in combined, high-performance teams delivering great outcomes every day.
- Processing data sets and delivering analysis to assist with decision making, including working out what data is required and how best to use it. Translating business requirements into achievable solutions with the technical team.
- Reviewing modelling outputs to business and technical requirements - Develop test plans, execute, and analyse tests and document results.
This role is based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

To be considered for this role you must have:
- Strong experience and understanding of the NZ Holidays Act requirements.
- Ability to take compliance requirements and assess business requirements that match to these. Excellent data analytics and modelling skills – the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data.
- Experience leading teams to deliver outcome focused results to tight timeframes and at a high level of quality.
- Ability to take business requirements and develop testing to confirm that implementation has been accurately completed.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Payroll system understanding would be an advantage, but this is not a system design role.
