As a Manager, you will partner with CFOs, finance teams and the broader business to help create long-term value. Drawing on your commercial experience, deep sector and regulatory insight, and expertise in financial accounting, reporting and finance optimisation you will deliver practical solutions that drive outcomes across a wide range of areas. You will be part of a high-performing team undertaking challenging, meaningful work with tangible impacts.
This is a hybrid position is based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland). This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Aotearoa. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
- You will partner with Chief Finance Officers, their finance teams, and wider business to create long-term value, trust, and confidence within their organizations.
Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success
- A minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, and CA or equivalent professional qualification.
- A degree in accounting and/or another appropriate academic major.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills with a proven ability to execute under pressure.
- An understanding of how a transaction works (i.e., business acquisitions and business disposals) and the operational impacts for the business/finance function.
