Cybersecurity is still a critical business focus and our clients are overwhelmingly turning to EY for help and guidance on how to protect their assets, minimise business disruption and improve their overall cyber risk capability.  


As a Senior Consultant or a Manager within the Cybersecurity team, you’ll partner with leading organisations in the public and private sector and translate their uncertainty into confidence. You will help our clients improve their cybersecurity capabilities, specifically through Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives. This includes assessing cyber capability and advising on strategy and technology, to designing and building transformation programs and specific security solutions, to implementing and also managing security solutions, often alongside selected market leading vendors.

  • Demonstrated experience of successful delivery within a project-based environment.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities, both written and verbal. 
  • An inquisitive mindset, agility and commitment to quality outcomes in a high-performance team. 
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills which will support you with working effectively in a diverse team and with key stakeholders. 
  • Detailed knowledge of Identity Management including Enterprise Knowledge of one or more identity product suites (e.g. Quest One Identity Manager, Sailpoint IIQ / IdentityNow, CA Identity Suite, Oracle Identity Manager, Microsoft Identity Manager). 
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Windows AD, Azure AD and LDAP. 
  • Working knowledge in the following areas:  
  • Identity federation using SAML 2.0 or OAuth. 
  • Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Java. 
  • DevOps Agile CI/CD release management. 
  • Programming language (e.g. – Java/Beanshell or C#). 
  • Ability to: 
  • Manage a project team to deploy large-scale software solutions. 
  • Elicit and document business requirements; develop custom reports; workflows and policie (as needed). 
  • Understanding of project and change management principles.  


And will be complimented by: 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities, both written and verbal. 
  • An inquisitive mindset, agility and commitment to achieve quality outcomes in a high-performance team. 
  • Experience in communication and stakeholder management which will support you with working effectively in a diverse team and with key stakeholders. 


Bonus points if you also have: 

  • Cybersecurity related certification(s). 
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology. 
  • Consulting experience with end-to-end project delivery: analysis, design implementation, testing and documentation of enterprise software solutions. 
  • Sound understanding of Privilege Access management including knowledge of any of the PAM vendor solutions (e.g. CyberArk, Beyond Trust, One Identity Safeguard). 
  • Any solution-based identity training, e.g. SailPoint IdentityNow developer training; CyberArk training; etc. 
  • Basic network connectivity troubleshooting skills. 
  • Experience with engineering a multi-tenant application environment or hybrid environment.
