Your key responsibilities

Everything you'll do will come back to providing exceptional testing subject matter expertise and solving complex problems that make a difference for our clients.  Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you'll be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you'll become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries. 

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Working with clients to drive transformational change in the way they deliver application testing services in their organizations
  • Manages all activities involved in the end to end testing process, including strategy, planning, execution, quality assessment and issue resolution
  • Prepares and executes the different test levels, monitors the progress, and reports the result of the test execution to relevant stakeholders
  • Planning, implementing and quality assurance for large complex testing projects; Define and implementation of Program Test strategy for complex enterprise-wide level initiatives
  • Teaming with business organizations to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Developing client relationships across multiple levels and support sales efforts 
  • Experience defining test strategies and managing large-scale payments transformation initiatives.
  • Leadership in overseeing test planning, resource allocation, and quality gates across payment platforms.
  • Strong coordination skills to manage testing dependencies across channels, core systems, and downstream partners.
  • Proficiency in managing test reporting, defect governance, and test data strategy.
  • Proven track record in mentoring and managing distributed QA teams and test leads.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field and approximately 9+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent collaboration and teaming skills in diverse environments
  • Functional expertise in payments (ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP) and systems such as OBPM, FLEXCUBE, MTS, PEGA.
  • Familiarity with payment compliance (OFAC, REG E/Z, AML) from a test planning and execution standpoint.
  • Experience with Enterprise Money Movement services and integrations (Wire, ACH, RTP, EFT, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of ISO 20022 standards, including message structures, business processes, and data elements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to ISO 20022 (OFAC, RTP, EFT, PEGA, REG Z/E, Dispute, FX)
  • Skills in validating data integrity and accuracy within ISO 20022 messages
  • Deep knowledge of ISO 20022 testing lifecycle, compliance alignment, and integration landscapes.
  • Experience in using tools like Octane & JIRA to log, track, manage as part of Defect Management
  • Excellent communication and hands-on skills in creating status reports using PowerPoint and BI reporting tools like Power BI is added advantage.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Approximately 6 years of Banking and capital markets, including prior consulting experience

 

  • Experience in conducting end-to-end Business process and workflow testing with all the downstream partners to ensure the entire payment process, from initiation to settlement, works seamlessly
  • Deeper understanding of Automation testing and ability to guide/recommend client on automated approach. Knowledge in performance and security testing is a plus
  • Knowledge on latest trend and technologies pertaining to Cloud and AI is advantage.
  •  Strong analytical abilities to identify issues and understand complex message flows.
  •  Ability to clearly document test cases, results, and communicate findings with development teams and stakeholders

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $141,200 to $258,900.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $169,500 to $294,300.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
