The Opportunity
As a Physical AI R&D Consultant in EY Physical AI Lab, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Physical AI initiatives. You will leverage your extensive experience to provide high-level guidance and best practices to clients and internal teams, enabling the successful integration of advanced technologies in robotics and AI applications. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how organizations harness the power of Physical AI, driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and guiding teams in the delivery of Physical AI solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Drive strategic planning and execution for Physical AI initiatives, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and stakeholder business objectives.
- Provide expert technical guidance on best practices for integrating software and hardware components within Physical AI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and enhance AI and robotics solutions.
- Lead client showcases and strategy sessions to demonstrate Physical AI capabilities and value.
- Engage with stakeholders and clients to understand business needs, delivering strategic insights and actionable recommendations for successful Physical AI adoption.
- Develop thought leadership content, including white papers and case studies, to highlight best practices and innovative approaches in Physical AI.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering).
- 5-8 years of experience in Robotics, Digital Twin, Computer Vision, or related fields, with a strong focus on strategic planning, technology integration, and project management.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing technology strategies that drive business value and innovation, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of AI and robotics technologies, including familiarity with emerging trends and best practices for their application across various industries.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks, with experience in leading cross-functional teams to drive successful project execution.
- Experience in engaging with stakeholders at a strategic level, providing insights and recommendations that align with their business goals and operational needs.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions that leverage advanced technologies in AI and robotics.
- Familiarity with data management and analysis tools, as well as experience in leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and optimize project outcomes.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to guide project direction and support alignment with stakeholder objectives.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey findings, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement to stakeholders and team members.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- An advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a STEM-related field, such as Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- A solid understanding of Robotics and AI/ML workflows, including ingesting, analyzing, transforming data, and evaluating results to make meaningful predictions.
- Knowledge of best practices in change management, with the ability to guide organizations through the adoption of new technologies and processes.

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges. - We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,900 to $235,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $151,100 to $267,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
