The opportunity
Recognizing the changing and fast-paced professional landscape, you will work with our clients to enhance their sourcing, procurement, vendor management and spend management capabilities through digital technologies. You will support client teams and engagement leadership to bring our broad range of capabilities and insights to enhance the role and effectiveness of the finance and operations function. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in Business, Technology, Strategy and Risk to execute on our latest solutions to not only improve operational efficiencies, but to enhance the changing roles of the CFO and CPO indispensable partners tasked with providing better business insights, profitability and performance measurement.
Your key responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to assess current Source-to-Pay (indirect procurement) processes (contracting, sourcing, contingent labor, T&E, expense FP&A, accounts payable) identify pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement technology-enabled procurement strategies tailored to clients' business objectives and industry best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend digital procurement technologies, including e-procurement systems, supplier management software, and analytics tools, to automate processes and drive efficiency.
- Lead digital procurement implementation projects from inception to completion, including solution design, configuration, testing, and training.
- Provide expertise and guidance on procurement best practices, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and compliance.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities, and develop actionable insights for clients.
- Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate clients on digital procurement concepts, tools, and methodologies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, understand their unique challenges, and provide ongoing support and strategic advice to drive continuous improvement.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of years of experience in procurement consulting, with a focus on digital procurement, procurement transformation, e-procurement, or supply chain management.
- Understanding of procurement tools, e.g. Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Zycus, Oracle Procurement, Workday procurement is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing digital procurement solutions, preferably in a consulting or advisory role.
- Proficiency in utilizing e-procurement software, ERP systems, and other digital procurement tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in a client-facing environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
