Business Analyst

 

The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into actionable requirements and that project delivery is both timely and low-risk. This position is essential for optimizing business processes, fostering data-driven decision-making, and supporting the successful execution of complex enterprise initiatives.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Business and Process Analysis: Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to thoroughly document current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements. Develop clear, actionable target workflows that align with organizational goals.
  • Requirements Elicitation and Management: Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements and user stories. Ensure traceability from initial requirements through acceptance criteria and user acceptance testing (UAT), maintaining alignment with project objectives.
  • Project Documentation and PMLC Artifacts: Deliver all required Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) artifacts, including process maps, test plans, and templates, in accordance with the established control plan. Maintain comprehensive and organized project documentation to support auditability and knowledge transfer.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide ad-hoc data analysis using tools such as SQL or Excel pivot tables to validate requirements, identify trends, and generate insights that inform business decisions. Prepare clear, concise reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing process improvement by collecting and analyzing stakeholder feedback, conducting post-release reviews, and implementing lessons learned to enhance future project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate consensus and manage expectations to achieve project success.
  • Support Change Management: Assist in the development and delivery of training materials, user guides, and communication plans to support successful adoption of new processes and systems.

 

Profile & Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in technology, cybersecurity, or complex enterprise programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, interview facilitation, and end-to-end requirements management, including UAT.
  • Proficiency in practical data analysis (SQL or Excel pivoting) and experience with JIRA for tracking and managing project tasks.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality artifacts such as process maps, user stories, and test plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering value and driving results.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Based in Atlanta, with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $77,500 to $140,900.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $92,900 to $160,500.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
