As an EY SC Planning & Synchronization Consulting Professional, you’ll use your analytical insight and professional experience to drive clients’ global supply chain strategies towards effective performance and sustainable growth, leveraging on EY’s innovative S&OP/IBP solutions and transformation framework.

 

Working as part of a high-performing team, you will be expected to deliver exceptional client service and help leading organizations optimize their flow of goods, manage inventory efficiently and improve OTIF delivery to meet customer demands.

The opportunity

As a SC Planning & Synchronization Consulting Professional, you will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers using your technical knowledge and experience to provide the best outcomes. At the same time, you are required to continuously develop through trainings and hands-on experience on a variety of engagements.

 

Your key responsibilities 

As an experienced SC Planning & Synchronization Consulting Professional you will take part in demanding projects with regional and global reach, and you will:

  • Take part in client meetings and interview client stakeholders to understand their business requirements and strategic objectives
  • Develop and implement contemporary supply chain planning strategies and solutions to address client needs and improve overall performance, in terms of efficiency, cost and sustainability
  • Perform data analysis with advanced tools to understand current state and identify areas of improvement
  • Provide solutions to clients to achieve excellence in the areas of Supply Chain Planning & Synchronization
  • Gather & analyze benchmarks and leading practices from all Global & Regional sources of EY network and define clients’ SC of the future
  • Develop innovative future state scenarios, collaborating with an extended eco-system of internal and external partners
  • Provide hands on support, in most cases on-site, to help clients realize their SC transformation strategy
  • Contribute to EY’s Global Knowledge by improving existing assets and solutions, and by supporting the design and development of new ones

To qualify for the role, you must have:

 

  • At least 3 years of combined working experience in Management Consulting and/or SC Planning related roles in a corporate environment, for entry level consultants. For senior and managerial roles, additional experience will be evaluated accordingly
  • A bachelor and / or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Operational Research, any Engineering or Business domain degree, or other related field with strong quantitative focus.
  • Good knowledge of data management and analytics tools
  • Deep understanding of Forecast-to-Fulfil
  • Experience in tendering processes and contracts management
  • Interaction with multidisciplinary teams at all hierarchical levels
  • Handling and analyzing extensive data sources and large data sets skills
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Experience in specialized Planning & Procurement tools & modules will be considered a plus (e.g. Kinaxis, O9, OMP, SAP IBP, SO99+, FuturMaster, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek; Similar skills in other languages will be considered a plus
